It remains one of the most controversial and influential moments in pro wrestling history. Chris Masters Released, Chris Jericho Returns Nov 19th?

As predicted right here, Chris Masters as been released and will no doubt get snapped right up by TNA. Woah, not even they are that stupid. Ever since Lashley broke the masterlock, he’s had nothing going for him in WWE. It is perhaps no coincidence that his release coincides with CNN’s Death Grip: Inside Pro Wrestling which looked at the steroid and drug culture in WWE. It’s interesting to note that since the wellness policy was brought into effect two years ago, over 60 people have been given warnings and 30 people suspended. Have any of you seen this show? Raw Review 05th Nov 2007

In a blatant attempt to drag the ratings back up, Raw had DX for one night only and Stone Cold Steve Austin to beat down Santino Marella. DH Smith and Chris Masters Suspended

In what will no doubt become a regular news feature in wrestling, the first victims of WWE’s new policy of naming and shaming people who break the wellness policy (brought in this month) have been revealed. DH Smith (otherwise known as Harry Smith) will be out for 30 days, while Chris Masters will be out for 60 days. Read the rest »
