Survivor Series is meant to be one of the big four WWE shows of the year (along with Royal Rumble, Wrestlemania and Summerslam), not that you would know it after watching this PPV. At the tapings for Smackdown this past Tuesday there was reportedly a big fight between JBL and John Morrison. JBL was not amused by the slack commentary Morrison and The Miz did on ECW during CM Punk’s match, feeling they had gone too far and made the champion look poor. He then yelled at them again for performing badly in their Smackdown match against MVP and Matt Hardy, saying they had to apologize to everyone concerned. The Miz did so without fuss, however Morrison told JBL to mind his own business which resulted in a shoving match and they ended up having to be pulled apart. Read the rest »

Genesis 2007 will no doubt be primarily remembered as the PPV where Booker T made his TNA debut, but there were a few other highlights that made this show worthy of some attention, not least two incredible matches and a few surprise wins. Last month TNA put on arguably one of the best PPV’s of 2007 with Bound For Glory. Can they follow that up by putting on another great show with Genesis? The card looks weak and most of it has been thrown together, but there are quite a few potential show stealers here. TNA have more than enough talent to make up for the lack of storylines.
